The relaxed atmosphere in the Business Lounge of the ADIBF makes it easy to strike deals with publishers and agents, or simply get acquainted. Many editors, translators, librarians, booksellers, illustrators, journalists and other professionals regularly attend the book fair in Abu Dhabi, and profit from its unique setting for business and professional growth.

Abu Dhabi is a major venue for book sales. Many regional schools and governmental agencies buy their entire book supply for the coming year at the fair. Book revenues in 2007 exceeded USD 8.2 million (EUR 6 million/GBP 4 million).

In 2009, the ADIBF will stage once again an Exclusive Trade Visitor’s Day on 17 March 2009.
