Visitors are welcome to the 19th ADIBF from 18 to 22 March 2009 (exclusive Trade Visitors Day: 17 March). You will find thousands of books, not only in Arabic, but in all other major languages of the world, in English, French, German, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu and many more. Author Celebrities at the ADIBF 2008

Celebrities such as the authors Alaa al-Aswany, the 2007 Prince of Poets Kareem Matouq, Samar al-Mouqrin, Khairy Shalaby, and many more read, discussed and signed books. The winner and shortlisted authors of the 1st International Prize for Arabic Fiction (“Arab Booker Prize”) were presented. The authors and cultural personalities winning the 2nd Sheikh Zayed Book Award were also special guests at the Fair.
